Summer 2010 Bead Challenge Winner

Congratulations to Shirley Stieb, winner of our Summer Bead Challenge, for her entry "Tide Pool". Shirley says she started by stringing the beads in the kit into long ropes. As the ropes piled up it reminded her of a tide pool she saw along the Pacific coastline. The round focal element can be worn separately as a pin.

Shiley has been beading for about 40 years. I guess what they say is true - practice makes perfect!
